FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

- Perform machine installation, preventive maintenance, and training at the customer site.
- Identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve customer/equipment issues.
- When not travelling, provide technical remote support to customers.
- Maintain a high degree of professional customer service for all customer interactions.
- Associate degree, certification, trade school diploma, or equivalent experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation/Automotive.
- High school diploma and 2 years minimum experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation/Automotive.
- Travelling up to 70% of the time by flight or by car (for international travel passport is required).
- Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic components and power tools in CNC industry
- Ability to learn and understand mechatronics systems.
- ASE certification and experience with ISO 9001. Preferred but not required.
- Competence in MS Office suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong time management, and ability to collaborate effectively with people.
- Self-driven with ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and working under various distractions and constraints.
- Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Requires very frequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, standing, speaking, and hearing and frequent kneeling. Repetitive use of the hands, squeezing, keyboarding, and crouching.
- Requires frequent lifting and carrying of up to 10 pounds, recurrent lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting and carrying of 50 or more pounds. Also requires constant pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds and occasional pushing and pulling of over 50 pounds with the aid of handcarts or other wheeled devices.
- Must be able to perform detailed work and operate mobile equipment.
- Must possess good visual and color acuity.
