- Greet guests promptly in friendly and welcoming manner.
- Manage reservations and seat guest promptly.
- Provide accurate wait time estimates to guests.
- Handle reservation inquiries and bookings effectively.
- Communicates effectively between front-of-house and back-of-house staff to manage seating.
- Relay important information to servers and other necessary restaurant staff.
- Handle guest concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner; collaborate with supervisory staff to address issues that may arise.
- Keep the host/hostess station clean and organized.
- Monitor and manage the cleanliness of the waiting area and seating area.
- Assist in maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness.
- Assist with any opening or closing preparation duties.
- May assist with inventory, re-stocking item, and other restaurant duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation requirements.
- Open availability days, evenings, weekends, and Holidays.
- Previous host/hostess or related customer facing role experience preferred
- Occasionally lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently ascend/descend stairs.
- Frequent standing and walking.
