About the job Interim Senior Procurement SpecialistWe are seeking an Interim Senior Procurement Technician to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for various critical activities to ensure the smooth operation of our client's procurement processes. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to collaborate effectively will contribute to the success of this mission.Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate requisition processes, ensuring strict adherence to existing policies and guidelines.
  • Create CapEx purchase orders (POs) and collaborate with suppliers to expedite delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance team to align funding models, including cash, leasing, and other options.
  • Provide well-researched recommendations for business allocations to Procurement managers.
  • Prepare and oversee the execution of Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and/or Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies in invoices, facilitating smooth financial processes.
  • Investigate and address aging purchase orders and unreceipted receipts as required.
  • Assist the Procurement Manager in managing and prioritizing incoming purchase requirements and PO-related needs.
  • Generate purchasing reports as necessary, including reports on key departmental metrics (KPIs).
  • Maintain meticulous documentation traceability and archival of essential documents such as tenders, quotations, contracts, SDSs, IFUs, etc.
  • Collaborate with vendors to address issues related to quotes, invoices, purchase orders, delays, and payment terms.

  • Demonstrated autonomy, dynamism, and creativity, along with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, to manage data effectively.
  • Previous experience in a procurement role or related responsibilities will be considered a plus.
