To complete its development team, our partner is looking for a Digital Implementation Engineer. Are you the missing piece of their team? Discover it through the following description!FunctionYou will work in a digital team of 5 people and with the others Hardware teams : Analog development and the Layout team. They deliver delivering innovative and high-quality mixed-signal utlra-low power SoCs. As lead of the digital physical design, you will be involved in all aspects of the implementation flow including synthesis, place and route and signoff.Your daily tasks cover the full digital physical implementation flow, from Register Transfer Level (RTL) to the Graphic Data System (GDS), including :
  • Front-end implementation : synthesis, Density functional theory (DFT);
  • Back-end implementation : floor planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing;
  • Signoff verification : Static timing analysis (STA), IR drop, Engineering Management (EM), logical equivalence;
  • Power estimation and reporting.
You will daily work with computational software such as Cadence (mostly), Siemens, Mentor or Synopsis.In addition, you will make sure to develop, maintain and automate the digital implementation flow to meet and exceed industry standards.Profile
  • You own a master or PhD degree in engineering science within the field of microelectronic, or related field with relevant experience;
  • You are fluent in English (a working knowledge of French is a plus);
  • Having knowledge of hardware description language (HDL) for RTL design (Verilog preferred or VHDL);
  • Having knowledge of Electronic design automation (EDA) tools for digital physical implementation and verification;
  • You are rigorous and efficient;
  • You are a trustful person with a great team player;
  • You are naturally proactive and open to challenges.
Assets include:
  • Being familiar with scripting languages (eg. Python, Bash, Shell);
  • Having experience with the low power implementation flow (power intent specification, clock gating, power gating;
  • Having experience with advanced nodes (including statistical STA).
