- Responsible for the daily analysis and processing of accurate pay for Pilots and Flight Attendants by performing daily and weekly audits to ensure:
- Compliance with ALPA and AFA Labor Agreements.
- Accurate calculation and processing of crew duty hours, absences of flight crews (e.g., sick, company business, and vacation), and crew payroll closing.
- Proper application of pay by accounting, recording, and reconciling Crew Payroll discrepancies.
- Collaborates with Crew Scheduling, Training Scheduling, Flight/Inflight Operations, and HR Payroll to understand pay requirements and apply adjustments to pay resulting from operational changes.
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain a strong understanding of the Company’s interpretation of Pilot and Flight Attendant collective bargaining agreements to accurately translate CBAs into pay requirements.
- Work with Senior Specialist to identify areas of concern or risk in the upstream by auditing processes and providing recommendations to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Research and respond to crewmember pay inquiries via EConnect within established SLAs to ensure crewmembers are responded to in a timely manner, discrepancies are quickly resolved, and future discrepancies are prevented.
- Provide basic reporting based on employee inquiries, case management trends, and other pay-related issues to assist with identifying root causes and/or systematic issues.
- Produce monthly payroll reports using CrewTrac to help Leaders track monthly trends and irregularities.

- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related working experience.
- 1 year of experience working in Crew Scheduling, Payroll, Accounting, or related experience.
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and accounting processes.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to effectively manage time and resources, adapt to rapidly changing priorities, and meet required deadlines (which may occasionally require work before or after business hours or weekend duty).
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Airline experience
- Proficiency in the understanding and application of regulatory and contractual documentation (FARs, AFA and ALPA contracts, etc.)
- Working knowledge of the Crew Management Systems (Crew Trac, Crew Pay)
- 3 years of experience in Crew Scheduling
