To do this successfully, you must possess strong analytical and organizational skills, work comfortably in a fast pace environment and understand the importance of deadlines.Duties and responsibilities- The primary duties and responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator
  • Responsible for the preparation and processing of the Bi-Weekly and Monthly Payrolls.
  • Review variance and error reports during processing to troubleshoot potential issues.
  • Responsible for the Sign Off and troubleshooting timekeeping errors.
  • Reconciliation of Periodic and Quarterly Files between Workday and Third-Party Providers.
  • On-going processing of Ad-Hoc payments for employees upon request.
  • Ensure the completion and settlement of payroll by designated deadline.
  • Manage and address payroll related inquires via Help Scout.
  • Collaborate with Payroll Team to ensure that department deliverables are met.
  • Maintain strong and positive relationships with HR, Benefits, Operations, Finance, IT, and other internal stakeholders and partners.
Qualifications- A candidate’s qualifications will include:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll experience required.
  • Strong Excel skills is required (V-Loop, Pivot Table, Formulas)
  • Ability to travel to the New Jersey offices 3 days a week. 2 days WFH.
  • Workday, ADP experience helpful.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing key items.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation and informal communication skills
  • Knowledge of withholding tax, related tax filings, tax policy and employment regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, efficient, self-motivated with the ability to follow through.
