To work as a strategic business partner in addition to work as a finance leader.Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:Monthly closure of books of accounts and timely reporting to head office· Ensure accurate and timely accounting and financial statement presentation.· Meeting various reporting and forecasting deadlines· Having complete understanding of the business and reflecting the same in the accounting to create meaningful insights through effective MIS reporting.Handling business commercial role· Prepare the commercial budget and discuss the same signed off with client· Monitor expense against the budget and check variance and report to higher management.· Inform Business Unit Manager and Commercial Manager about the budget utilisationMonitor the cost utilisation and advise the Business Manager of necessary actions· Monthly review of business expenditure in terms of manpower, expenses, salary/ incentives etc.· Establish necessary controls· Interact with other business commercial partners and share best practicesMonitor vendor and expenses management, salary process· Manage 3P payroll vendors and ensure compliance by such agencies.· Manage other vendors and expense process.· Coordinate with payroll department and ensure accurate and timely payment and accounting of salaries.Audit Interface – Internal and Statutory Audit· Working as the primary audit interface and ensuring timely closure of statutory, group reporting, internal and client conducted audits.Ensuring statutory compliance· Timely payment of GST / PT / Income Tax/ PF· Timely filling of reports and returnEffective teamwork and self-management· Ability to work in a team to achieve a shared goal· Demonstrate flexibility in balancing achievement of own objectives with abilities to understand and respond to organisational needs· Manage own career development by staying abreast of any technical and industry changes· The capacity to plan, manage, monitor and evaluate own workflow and output, anticipating obstacles, juggling priorities and following through on goals and commitments within agreed time-frames
