- Lead day-to-day activities related to program implementation of the demonstration project, including:
- Maintain organization of multiple client's project data such as project estimates, scopes of work, invoices, utility data and more
- Management of CRM software for tracking program data and outreach activities
- Troubleshoot implementation challenges that arise and create operating procedures and policies to address issues
- Track all project deliverables, expenditures and timelines
- Update and streamline internal administrative processes as needed
- Meet weekly with each partner organization and lead weekly team meeting
- Lead the EnergyFit team in creating solutions to challenges that limit the effectiveness of the program
- Perform data analysis and report on program findings
- Report to Director of Climate Initiatives
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- 5-7 years of experience managing program implementation related to housing, climate action, energy policy, or public services. Other fields may be considered if the applicant's program management experience is strong.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects and effectively balancing competing demands.
- Experience working with community-based organizations and/or contractors.
- Resident of or experience working in communities where the program is implemented (East New York, Brownsville, Bedford Stuyvesant, Canarsie, Crown Heights, or Cypress Hills, Brooklyn is a plus.
- Able to coordinate multiple team stakeholders and work alongside them to come up with solutions in real time to program issues.
- Demonstrated knowledge in data management.
- Extremely organized, able to self-manage and turn around work in a timely manner and also work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Demonstrated commitment to racial and environmental justice.
- Candidates must have demonstrated experience in sustainability, energy efficiency, affordable housing, environmental justice, urban planning and/or climate action.
- BPI certification is a plus.
