- Oversee team in the preparation and review of accounting close activities including the review of new contracts, complex account reconciliations, quarterly analytics and controls
- Responsible for analysis of sales reserves - on-going and formalized month-end / quarter-end basis.
- Support continuous improvement of the efficiency and accuracy of internal reporting measures including daily scorecard/flash, monthly/quarterly revenue analytics and profitability reporting
- Primary contact for financial planning leads in providing forecasted and actual data related to gross to net reserves
- Support external reporting and audit requirements
- Support internal business requests for product performance analytics
- Drive continuous development of tools to drive efficiency and promote scalability as it relates to issue identification and resolution in day to day operations of internal reporting
- Expand the use of and engagement in reporting tools to improve efficiency
- Opportunities to collaborate and support efforts in other areas of business
Education Preferred CPA License or MBA
Experience Required: Minimum 8+ years progressive accounting experience
Pharmaceutical Industry Experience
Prior revenue accounting experience
Prior supervisory experience
Excellent communication and organizational skillsExperience Preferred: Experience with SAP ERP Modules
Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed: Knowledge and experience in application of US GAAPOrganization and Planning
