Job Description: * Minimum 5 (Five) years of Inspection experience, on equipment's for the Oil and Gas/ Refinery/ LNG/ Petrochemical/ Chemical industry. (Essential).
  • Extensive knowledge of equipment (Static and Rotary) and bulk material inspection, at supplier works, covering review of inspection and test plans, conducting pre-inspection meeting, carrying out In-process inspections and final inspections.
  • Plan, execute, and report project inspections, coordinating with project team, client, suppliers, inspection coordinators and Inspection agencies.
  • Knowledge of National & International codes and standards like ASME, AWS, ANSI, IS, TEMA and manufacturing sequence of the commodities - (Essential)
  • Good communication skills & Computer skills.
Responsibilities: * Ensure that the content and objective of the Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Sustainability (HSSE&S), Quality and the Information Security policies are implemented.
  • The accomplishment of all duties delegated by the Manager, Inspection & Expediting
  • Carry out inspection of equipment and material to the extent defined in Purchase orders, Material Requisitions, and their referenced specifications, standards, procedures, inspection and test plans and Engineering standards.
  • Complete inspection reports on the correct forms immediately following visit to supplier's works and forward to the appropriate office (s) without delay.
  • Complete and forward to the appropriate office a signed copy of the 'Final Inspection Request' immediately on the completion of the final inspection
  • Ensure that all work undertaken is accomplished in compliance with the Wood code of Business Conduct and Ethics, Corporate Policies and Policy letters.
Qualifications: * Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Essential)
  • Qualified in NDE Practices like MPT, LPT, RT & UT, with valid ASNT Level II certification - (Essential)
