  • Provides comprehensive level of assistance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Provides high level of administrative and clerical support to the department.
  • Undertakes special projects to meet the objectives of the function.
  • Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously, and follow-up on issues in a timely manner.
  • Follows the university rules and regulations.
  • Receives, stores and issues goods.
  • Manages stock level and records stock movement.
  • Organizes inventory in the stock room.
  • Enters information on the on-line purchasing system.
  • Confirms vendor receipt of purchase order.
  • Checks actual inventory against computerized records.
  • Monitors movement of supplies.
  • Communicates delivery issues, shortages and price discrepancies to the Manager.
  • Advises Manager in devising new ways to reduce and maintain inventory control.
  • Prepares periodic and special reports.
  • Undertakes other duties as required by the Manager- Purchasing.
