- Project Management: Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- NAVFAC Experience: Utilize previous experience with NAVFAC projects to navigate project complexities and requirements effectively.
- On-Site Presence: Maintain a physical presence at the project site to oversee construction activities, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
- Budget and Schedule Management: Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, tracking expenses, milestones, and deliverables to ensure project completion within established parameters.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, conducting regular inspections and audits as necessary.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges and implementing contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and other project-related correspondence.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Previous experience in NAVFAC projects and construction project management.
- Experience managing construction projects ranging from $1M to $5M.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
