Come join our team!The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.· Accurately perform hardness and other tests and record results as required.· Performs calibration of all testing equipment accurately and on schedule.· Performs audits, weekly probes, surveys, etc. as needed or defined by procedure and/or schedule.· May be required to complete conformance certificates and/or other related paperwork.· Meet all specification requirements per BMS.· Report any deviation, problem or irregularity to supervisor or management immediately.· Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.· Perform other tasks as designated by position· This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer's inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage· Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticismWe are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
  • This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card holders.
  • Education - High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one to three years in heat treating industry or related field
  • Must have working knowledge of all testing equipment and terminology
  • Basic knowledge of commercial and aerospace materials and heat-treating equipment is desired
  • Must have some experience reading/interpreting blueprints/specifications, be detail oriented and possess manual dexterity
  • May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases are required
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language
