The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined and have experience in small engine repair and equipment maintenance preferably with STIHL power equipment. They will need to quickly get Silver certified. The preferred candidate will have verifiable small engine repair experience and the ability to show consumers how to properly use a wide variety of STIHL power equipment.SummaryThis position is responsible for maintaining focus on quality customer service, increasing sales, and STIHL equipment maintenance and repair. The successful employee will consistently provide quality customer service, actively seek projects to complete, order STIHL parts as needed, fill out warranty paperwork and process repairs in a quick and efficient manner.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Customer ServiceEnsures customers are provided with the highest levels of customer serviceDemonstrates proper sales and service techniques as dictated by company leadershipConsistently provides customers with accurate information equipment availability and useListens to customers and provides courteous and knowledgeable assistance to each and every customerEffectively trains customers how to use complex equipment in a safe and effective wayCoach customers to utilize the correct equipment for the right jobSalesAccountable for increasing sales in their departmentProvides information to other associates to improve sales and increase product knowledge across the storeKnowledgeable of equipment on the sales floor, back stock levels, and locations of productsProvide a pleasant and safe shopping experienceEnsure cleanliness and departmental organization standards are metEquipment Repair:Ensures equipment is repaired, safe, and ready to process.Orders repair parts as needed for equipment repairEnsures proper check in and check out of equipmentMaintains repair schedule and regular maintenance schedules for all STIHL equipmentIdentifies and notifies management of any pricing irregularities in the systemPerforms other duties as assignedJob Type: Full-timeRequirementsHigh School degree or G.E.D. equivalent, plus two (2) years’ experience in an equipment repair preferred.Experience in retail/equipment repair experience and/or educational equivalent preferred.Must be able to effectively navigate basic computer programs and be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, etc.Strong math proficiency preferred.Additional InfoBenefits:401(k)401(k) MatchingDental InsuranceEmployee DiscountHealth InsurancePaid Time OffVision Insurance
