The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading all aspects of project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure the successful delivery of projects while meeting quality, cost, and timeline goals.What will you do?
  • Develop and handle production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet production targets and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
  • Provide regular reports on production performance, including key performance indicators and variance analysis and make data-driven decisions to optimize project outcomes.
  • Works with Master Scheduler and Manufacturing Leadership in SIOP and Supply Review processes.
  • Be responsible for the development and implementation of project plans, including defining project scope, goals, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with overall manufacturing strategies and business goals.
  • Analyze production data to identify potential bottlenecks or risks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, streamline workflows, and increase operational efficiency.
  • ERP infrastructure set up and maintenance including Master Data, Bill of Materials, Routings, and Purchasing Information Records.
  • Maintenance of MRP master data parameters for established products and new product transfers to ensure correct quantity and date signals generated by MRP (i.e., production lead times, lot sizing, safety stock, etc.) to minimize both back order and excess inventory. Implement material master changes, product structures, BOMs and Router into production.
  • Attend daily management stand-up meetings and provide regular and timely status updates on planning and production issues impacting replenishment to management.
  • Responsible for understanding and implementing relevant company and department policies and procedures.
  • Planner III may be dotted line for Planning Technician, Planner I or II, depend on the complexity of the work.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ISO/FDA, GMP, ISO Regulations and other regulatory requirements for diagnostics manufacturing. OSHA safety compliance needed.
How will you get here?Education:
  • Minimum required education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, operations management, business administration, or a related field.
  • APICS certified in Planning & Inventory Management preferable.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain (manufacturing planning/ scheduling preferred), with a strong focus on leading projects.
  • Proficiency in SAP infrastructure.
  • Data Governance experience from initiation to completion.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Project management skills, interpersonal, and communication skills. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, recommend solutions, and drives continuous improvements to completion.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-layered environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and production metrics.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, & Outlook), PowerPoint.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, site, and regulatory policies, practices, and guidelines.
  • Position may require frequent communication and walking to other areas in which designated PPE will be needed.
  • Position will require sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to ten pounds.
