HR Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources function to enhance the working environment for all employees. The position will develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, bridge management and employee relations, and ensure compliance with employment and labor laws. The HR Director will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes to support employee satisfaction and morale, resulting in a high level of performance and engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership qualities who can manage numerous functions within HR from recruitment to compliance. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).Key Responsibilities:Staffing
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy to attract and retain a highly engaged/high performing workforce.
Leadership & HR Strategy
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
Employee Engagement, Safety, and Evaluation
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field; MA/MSc/MBA is preferable.
  • Minimum of 10 years proven working experience as HR Director or other HR executive role.
  • Minimum of 7 years of supervisory experience.
  • SPHR-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of labor law, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HR metrics and HR systems.
Physical Requirements
This job will require frequent typing, sitting, stooping, standing, kneeling, and lifting up to 30-lbs, 50-lbs with assistance if requested.
