What You'll Do:
  • Participate in training sessions to learn proper techniques for operating cutting torches.
  • Assist experienced operators in setting up and preparing torch equipment for cutting tasks.
  • Gain proficiency in safely operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, cranes, and loaders under the guidance of experienced operators.
  • Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting torch and machinery equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working in both torch and heavy equipment operation environments.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and completion of tasks within specified timelines.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in both torch and machinery operation skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical principles and equipment operation is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in torch and machinery operation.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines at all times.
