Social Service Practitioners are hired at the following levels and advance within the series based on experience as a Social Service Practitioner (or equivalent) and in accordance with criteria established in the (see page 68).Completed service hours at the SSP I (Trainee) level do not count toward the service hour requirement to advance from the SSP II level to the SSP III levelSocial Service Practitioner IIS2: $61,089- $88,171 annuallySocial Service Practitioner IIIS4: $65,728- $93,787 annuallyTHE COUNTY OFFERS TWO LUCRATIVE BENEFIT PACKAGESAs an alternative to the traditional benefits package, you may also be eligible to elect the Modified Benefit Option (MBO) that provides an increased base rate of pay ($1.75 above the base rate of pay) with modified benefits. Qualifying degrees or coursework must be completed at a college or university accredited by an accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education. Degrees or coursework completed outside of the U.S. must be accompanied by an evaluation report from a reputable credential evaluation service indicating equivalency to degrees or coursework completed at a college or university accredited by an accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education.
