- Clinical Interventions: Utilize appropriate interventions, including creative arts therapies, to address diverse client needs.
- Documentation: Complete all required documentation accurately and within Electronic Health Record guidelines.
- Education/Certification: Masterβs in Creative Arts Therapies, Social Work, or equivalent field, with relevant state licensure/certification.
- Experience: Two years in mental health, experience with diverse populations, and knowledge of domestic violence dynamics.
- Training: Completion of 40 hours of domestic violence training mandated by the State of NJ upon hire.
- Knowledge: Psychiatric disorders, treatment modalities, community resources, and clinical interventions.
- Biopsychosocial assessments, differential diagnosis, and therapeutic engagement.
- Mobilize strengths, provide assistance in obtaining services, and create case formulations.
- Assess abuse and neglect, work with resistant consumers, and maintain strong communication skills.
- Open, warm, empathic, ethical, creative, organized, flexible, and dedicated.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and seek continuous improvement.
- Physical demands may include standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to or in excess of 50 pounds.
