- Develop highly innovative solutions to resolve complex problems involving limited and disparate information through the application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation, and integration of best practices.
- Serve as a technical SME interfacing with Executives, PMs and division leadership to make comprehensive recommendations and develop executable strategies.
- Support as a thought leader and SME new business pursuits, on-contract growth initiatives, and modernization across NRO and Leidos initiatives.
- Provide subject matter expertise in a hybrid multi-cloud environment.
- Advise and support engineering requirements of large-scale systems, major elements, and interfacing systems that are part of a complex network with geographically distributed components.
- Drive thought leadership through inclusion, collaboration, and mentorship of technical talent across the program.
- Contribute to program efforts in several areas, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities.
- Support business development and capture teams to identify, qualify, shape, solution, and pursue opportunities.
- Provide support for various government engagements at all levels, supporting challenges faced in operations, innovations, and executive level briefings.
- Ensures quality products and services are delivered, supporting and contributing to governing bodies (e.g., CCB, ERB, IDR, Technical Design Reviews, AAR Reviews, etc.).
- Visit the various sites in the DMV area to meet with customer and the technical team.
- Mentor and coach our technical staff.
- Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to obtain Polygraph.
- Master of Science in Engineering, Science, or Technology or related technical area and 15 plus years of total experience including the training, qualifications, experience, and clearances to accomplish all tasks identified above.
- DoD 8570 IAT III certification such as CISSP.
- Breadth of experience and/or expertise in Wide Area Networks, SATCOM, Optical Technologies, IP/MPLS networking, Cyber Security Incident Handling and Countermeasures, NOC Operations, System Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Service Delivery, and ‘as a Service’ models.
- Must have proven track record of critical thinking and developing creative problem and hard problem solutions with a focus on outcome-based delivery of meaningful innovations.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Experience identifying, developing, and implementing engineering change solutions with new technology and solutions on a large enterprise/national scale.
- Experience with large programs, and performing technology assessments, trade studies, analysis of alternatives, and creating capability roadmaps.
- Experience with Network Operation Center, Defensive Cyber Operations, and Data Center operational processes.
- A working knowledge of data analytics, algorithms, and modeling to solve analytically complex operational challenges.
- Demonstrated background in automation, and related technologies as they are applied to large Wide Area Networks, Cloud Hosting, Multicloud Operations, Defensive Cyber Operations, and Data Center Operations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a customer environment collaboratively through constraints to meet mission milestones.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and management to include presentation and experience discussing technology at large government agency CIO/CTO executive level.
- Self-motivated and focused on delivering outcomes with the ability to work independently and in teams.
- Experience leading the development of solutions for proposals, writing white papers, RFI responses.
- Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Cloud certification.
- DoD 8570 Cyber Security Service Provider certification such as CEH.
- DoD 8570 IASAE III certification: ISSAP, ISSEP, or CCSP.
