Construction SuperintendentJob Summary:The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction project while leading and managing the on-site construction team and overseeing all work on project. Position includes but not limited to ensuring quality standards are met and all safety regulations are adhered to on site.Supervisory Responsibilities:Supporting the Project Managers in all tasks necessary.Coordinate all prime contractors, Owner's vendors/installers, and field consultants.Monitor work schedules and assignmentsCommunicate and enforce safety procedures and site rulesDuties/ResponsibilitiesOrderliness on site and ensuring compliance with all safety regulationsEnsure quality standards are met.Liaison with inspection authoritiesCreate and maintain all project reports.Maintain project schedules and ensure adherence to same.Proactively look for innovative ways to improve delivery of projects through the Integrated Lean Project Delivery System incorporated by YII.Understand the client's goals & objectives and key risks on a project that must be monitored.Execute all projects in compliance with YII procedures.Qualifications:3+ years field experience in the commercial construction industry to include structural steel.Proficiency with the followingMS Office Suite products (Word, Excel, etc.)Blueprint reading – ability to interpret and build accordinglyProcore (preferred)Bluebeam Revu (preferred)Smartsheet (preferred)Taking and uploading digital photographsExcellent verbal and written communication and organization skillsExperienced in scheduling and reading Gantt ChartsMaintain a professional appearance and demeanorAbility to lift up to 50 poundsOHSA 10 or 30 Certification
