Job Title: General ManagerJob Overview: A highly reputable company is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations and drive growth in our flooring business. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our company, including sales, operations, customer service, and team development. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategies that align with our business objectives and ensure the continued success of our company.Responsibilities:Leadership and Team Management:
  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the company.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of employees.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee growth.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide coaching and feedback.
Operations Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure efficient and effective execution of all business processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational performance.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with various departments to optimize workflow and ensure smooth operations.
Sales and Business Development:
  • Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets by developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand the company's footprint.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
Customer Service Excellence:
  • Uphold a customer-centric approach and ensure exceptional service delivery at all touchpoints.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement measures to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve escalated issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage the company's budget, financial forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial data, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar senior leadership role.
  • Strong business acumen and a track record of driving business growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in the flooring or construction industry is highly desirable.
