To Be DeterminedOverview:
- Provide supervision and oversight of craft activities for the Uranium Processing Facility (UPF).
- Responsible for supervising and directing operations of the direct-hire craft personnel in adherence to the Construction Labor Agreement (CLA).
- Perform site-walks.
- Support the craft including direct planning support to help electricians to route.
- Verify install and inspections.
- Relay engineering (particularly electrical) facets to varying divisions.
- Work with growing craft personnel team to guide and direct field work and help them solve job-site problems.
- Act as a liaison between various construction, engineering, office, and craft divisions.
- Assist with design requirements.
- Support the craft more directly planning support – helping electricians to route.
- Determines manual staffing requirements.
- Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.
- Ensures job safety and is responsible for the implementation of site and project safety programs.
- Ensures strict adherence to all site requirements by craft personnel under their purview.
- Monitors work activities and ensure the quality and productivity of work performed.
- Supervises and directs subordinates personnel and assigned craftsmen in construction activities.
- Responsible for problem resolution, including labor concerns and technical issues.
- Monitors equipment and tool usage by direct-hire craftsmen.
- Assists in the preparation of material requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the Craft have the tools they require to be safe and productive.
- To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
- Due to the nature of the work, a U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Previous experience of DOE, DOD and/or commercial nuclear construction projects, preferred.
- Foreman/Superintendent experience, preferred.
- Engineering background, preferred.
- High School Diploma and 5+ years of experience working with Craft.
- Must be a right-minded person with field experience and electrical knowledge.
- Must be physically capable to participate in project walk-downs.
- Must understand supervisory functions relating to field activities.
- Must be self-starter, highly motivated, requiring little supervision, and able to work well in a team environment.
