If you match this description, get in touch!What you’ll doProgram, setup and operate CNC Machining Equipment – using SolidCAMProgram and design 3D models for fixturing, jigs, and holding devices for new incoming businessDrive efficiency projectsCheck parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications using proper gauges; calipers, bore gages, micrometersAssist and train CNC OperatorsYour qualificationsJourneyman/licensed machinist preferred and/or 8+ years’ experience running/programming CNC machines. Experience with HAAS machines a plusExperience setting up and operating 4&5 axis machine centers. Must be versed in rotary or indexing capability as the application applies to the Vertical Machining CenterUnderstand X axis, Y axis and Z axis clearance and tool statements to the Vertical Machining CenterExperience editing and troubleshooting programs using G-CodeGood understanding of all machining principles including but not limited to surface speed, chip load, general speeds and feeds. Thorough knowledge of basic cutting tools such as end mills, drills, taps, and slitting sawsExperience with lean manufacturing principlesAbility to work with all levels of employees throughout the company along with outside vendors/contractorsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needsWhat you’ll get in return…Rate = $23 to $34 per hourMedical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401KLearning is fundamental to our culture.
