- Perform physical exam and health histories.
- Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
- Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
- Direct and supervise care provided by other healthcare professionals.
- Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
- Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations.
- Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.
- Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.
- Preform nursing services identified in the TO.
- Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associates Degree of Nursing from a college or university accredited by Accreditation.
- Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or as otherwise identified in the TO.
- One (1) year of experience in nursing as identified in the TO after graduation.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse as required in the TO.
- Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (potentially up to a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance) (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Ability to effectively read, write and speak English in order to communicate with all patients and other healthcare providers.
- Excellent patient assessment skills.
- Sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills and social sensitivity such that he/she can relate constructively to a variety of patients and healthcare staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent written communication skills to perform accurate documentation, both written and electronic, of all activity in accordance with requirements.
- Pay is: $36.00 to $40.57 per hour.
