Primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to laptop installation, configuration, maintenance, and documentation. The person in this position will need to maintain other IT assets, prepare equipment for reuse or disposal, and other IT systems support as needed.At BBN, we offer an exciting and collaborative workplace. They will be configuring laptops and desktops with Windows 10, MacOS, and Linux to meet BBN standards. The End User Services is a fast-paced and nimble group. Flexibility and attention to detail essential to this teams’ success.What will you do?May perform installations, repairs, upgrades, backups, and other maintenance tasksMay perform telephone installations and removalsSetup of Audio/Visual equipment for conference roomsTroubleshoot a variety of software and hardware problemsSolves moderately complex problemsWill regularly maintain hardware and software asset inventory databaseWhat will you need?Student currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field.Experience with Mac and PC hardware: laptops, desktops.Desired Qualifications:Familiarity with MS Office Suite and OutlookFamiliarity with Mac OS and familiarity with Linux OSBasic understanding of network principles (TCP/IP) and LAN/WANKnowledge of networking essentials including common ports & protocols, DHCP, DNS, switching/routing, firewalls, etc…Familiarity with the use of Atlassian software products (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit BucketThe salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
