They will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements while also contributing to the overall accuracy and efficiency of our operations.Work Schedule:Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pmWhat you’ll do:Accurately enter patient registration information, perform clerical duties related to patient registration and insurance verification while maintaining confidentiality.Handle laboratory specimens for the purpose of tracking, positive patient identification and movement of specimens through processing.Scan Laboratory Requisitions in a timely manner to ensure information is available electronically for all laboratory staff.Assess the need for an Advanced Beneficiary Notice (ABN) and obtain by following the Catholic Medical Center (CMC) Laboratory ABN Policy and Procedure.Act as a resource for registration and specimen ordering procedures, provide training and support to new hires, and ensure compliance with all hospital and laboratory policies and procedures.What you bring:High School diploma or equivalent; college-level education preferred.Minimum of 1-year experience in a related healthcare field preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment and data entry.Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory operations.Strong keyboarding and data entry skills.Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.Capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Understanding of regulatory requirements for compliance activities.QualificationsWho we are:Catholic Medical Center (“CMC”) is a nonprofit, regional health system committed to delivering the highest quality and most advanced healthcare to patients across New Hampshire.
