The company specializes in insulated hydration solutions for people on the go with a mission to inspire, energize, and celebrate fitness enthusiasts everywhere, one refreshing sip at a time.Position SummaryThe VP of Marketing is an exciting new leadership role which will oversee the Marketing group, closely collaborate across the organization, and lead the innovation and development of products, features, and strategic brand vision and initiatives across global marketing channels including social, influencer, digital, PR and creative. You will analyze market trends, oversee market research, product positioning, advertising, brand management, manage campaigns, product launches and programs to fulfill brand, sales objectives and make informed decisions that drive the company's success. Position will be located out of their Costa Mesa, CA office.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Marketing team go-to-market and brand strategies, product campaigns, communications, PR, social media, influencer, community-building, and events. Develop loyalty and other consumer programs.Gain a deep understanding in vacuum insulated stainless drinkware (and adjacencies) and monitor the global market to continuously identify new products, features and improve customer experience while driving growth.Collaborate across the organization to create and message compelling brand narratives and product storytelling that connect with consumers and inspire engagement with the brands and products.Oversee the development of a multi-year product roadmap that prioritizes activities that support the company’s overall growth and business objectives that are informed by market and consumer trends. Set detailed product requirements (performance needs and features) that deliver on a compelling user experience.Lead the team in developing and executing marketing plans and promotions. Oversee initiatives from concept through post-launch analysis of KPIs to ensure successful market adoption, marketing campaign effectiveness, and ongoing performance.Responsible for website design and development. P&L responsibility for D2C and support .com retailers.Identify retail market requirements/opportunities, develop go-to-market strategies and collateral, and ensure strong alignment with sales and other cross-functional teams.Utilize data analytics to make informed marketing decisions. Evaluate consumer feedback, trends, and insights, sales performance data, and market research. Balance data with intuition to recommend the positioning and messaging for existing and future products. Collaborate across the organization to refine their assortment and pricing strategies to drive the brand mission, maximize profitability, and enhance their value to consumers.Regularly review and report digital revenue progress/achievements with stakeholders at all levels.Excellent agency and vendor management, ensuring that all third parties are offering excellent ROI and have a customer-centric approach.Build, develop, empower, and lead a high-performing team. Set goals, KPIs, and priorities that support the company's broader strategic goals while balancing the needs and bandwidth of the team. Foster a culture of innovation within the marketing team, encouraging creative thinking and the development of cutting-edge initiatives.Any other ad-hoc duties as required.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor Degree, MBA preferred. 10+ years consumer goods experience and a proven track record of relevant work experience in a senior marketing role.Experience of strategic responsibility, P&L accountability, budget management and know how to positively impact through strategic decisions.Excellent cross-functional collaboration and persuasion skills, with demonstrable experience of coaching and mentoring colleagues and direct reports to ensure breakthrough culture change.Experience of effectively managing a multi-skilled team to achieve exceptional results.Commercially minded and capable of using data and information from a range of sources to question current thinking to achieve outstanding results.Proficient computer skills.BenefitsChoice of 5 different health plans and 3 dental plans.Free life insurance and LTD.410(k) with company match up to 4%.Company discount up to 70% and free product.Generous PTO package.
