As a Finish Carpenter at United Trades of America, you will play a key role in the final stages of construction, bringing projects to completion with finesse and expertise.Responsibilities:Trim Carpentry: Skillfully install baseboards, crown molding, window casings, and other decorative trim elements with precision and attention to detail.Cabinet Installation: Install custom cabinets, shelves, and built-in furniture, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.Door and Window Installation: Expertly hang doors, install door frames, and fit and install windows for a seamless and polished finish.Flooring Installation: Lay hardwood, laminate, tile, or other types of flooring with accuracy, taking into consideration patterns and designs.Finish Work: Perform finishing touches such as sanding, staining, painting, and applying varnish or other finishes to enhance the appearance of wood surfaces.Blueprint Reading: Interpret construction drawings and blueprints to determine specifications and requirements for finishing work.Collaboration: Work closely with other construction professionals, including contractors and project managers, to ensure timely and successful project completion.Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and client expectations.Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional vocational or technical training in carpentry is a plus.Experience: Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.Skills: Expertise in trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and finishing work. Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
