Mid-Career Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineer - External Lighting SystemCompany: BBST - BrazilJob ID: 00000424994Date Posted: 2024-05-09Location: BRA - Sao Jose dos Campos, BrazilJob Description Qualifications:Boeing Brazil is seeking Mid-Career Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineer , reporting to the Electrical Power Systems team Manager of Boeing Brazil, working out of the São Jose Dos Campos, Brazil office.The Mid-Career Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineer will work with the global Electrical Power Systems engineering team to support the development and certification of transport category airplanes. Review documentation and generate artifacts to demonstrate compliance with relevant regulatory and customer requirements, related to power generation, distribution functions, lighting, optics, and proximity sensing.Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware designs and interface specifications.Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.This position will require occasional national and/or international travel.This position is hybrid / telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Must have existing rights to work in BrazilMust have a bachelor degree in EngineeringMust be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA)Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English LanguageExperience with Electrical EngineeringPreferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):Experience with External Lighting SystemRelocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Additional Information:This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil.
