With 65+ years of expertise, our ecosystem of interconnected products combined with our complete vehicle expertise uniquely positions us to advance mobility in an expanded transportation landscape.About the RoleResponsible for implementation and approval of Global Health & Safety Programs and benchmarks in Mexico in accordance with the Magna Health and Safety Global Policy and Programs.Your ResponsibilitiesEnsure the implementation of the corporate global OH&S programs in Mexico as the OH&S Legal Compliance ProgramImplement the Magna audit an inspection Program for all Mexican DivisionsProvide trainings, advice and consulting for Mexican Divisions on Health and SafetyAssist Divisions with reporting Health & Safety incidents and regulatory site visitsReview and present the quarterly Division performance reports to the H&S Director on a quarterly basisProvide Workers compensation information of all Mexican Division to the Workers compensation ManagerProvide support to all Mexican Divisions on Health and Safety preventive systems/issues questions,Notify applicable management and follow-up with the Division of all serious accidents (IMSS).Monitor/completion of Action Plan management in HSELinxCoordinate Health, Safety and Ergonomics Conference for Mexican -Divisions focused on corporate initiatives, regulatory updates. lessons learned, best practices, H&S updatesWho we are looking forCompletion of a post-graduate degree at a master's level or professional designation; for example, Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems Auditor/Lead AuditorKnowledge of Mexican and international occupational health and safety regulations and best practicesKnowledge, experience, and expertise in the successful implementation of occupational health and safety preventive systemsTo have good skills of leadership, communication, analysis, management, conflict management, problem solving, decision making, service attitude and commitment to this professionAt least demonstrate ten years of proved experience and expertise in implementation of OH&S preventive systemsYour preferred qualificationsIntegrityLeadership & TeamworkNegotiating & PersuadingAnalyzing & Investigating - Problem SolvingPlanning & organizingDecision-MakingTime ManagementDriveSelf-Awareness & Verbal CommunicationInitiative/Self-MotivationEnglish proficiencyWhat we offerAt Magna, you can expect an engaging and dynamic environment where you can help to develop industry-leading automotive technologies.
