- Responsible for managing the technology-related procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of professional services, software and hardware etc. within the Technology category.
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts (MSA's, SOW's, SaaS agreements), managing supplier relationships, and optimizing sourcing and purchasing strategies to achieve cost savings and maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Help build a high-achieving supply chain and provide sourcing support across the Cooperative.
- Build and execute strategies related to the assigned indirect categories/commodities to support aggressive improvements in total cost effectiveness, supplier quality, enhanced service levels, supply chain continuity, delivery, pricing, lead-times, payment, including a strong emphasis on creating, nurturing, and enhancing supplier relationships while focusing on mitigating risk.
- Execute category sourcing strategies including development and execution of RFI’s and RFP’s, develops selection criteria and drives the selection of suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams; conducts supplier negotiations and contracting, and coordinates with stakeholders on program implementation and ongoing supplier management.
- Develop and maintain a highly effective collaborative working relationship with leadership and cross- functional partners as it relates to strategy development for innovation, productivity, quality, service, and continuous improvement.
- Actively seeks opportunities to streamline business processes.
- Research and provide information on category/commodity trends and best practices.
- Develop negotiation strategies, gains alignment from stakeholders, leads cross-functional, category-based negotiation teams, and implements appropriate risk analysis.
- Bachelor’s Degree required with 5-7 of relevant Technology Sourcing experience
- Extensive experience in strategic sourcing, contract review/redlining/negotiations and supplier relationship management within the Technology/IT category including MSA, SOW, and SaaS agreements
- Exposure to/working knowledge of SAP/Oracle and Procure-to-Pay (P2P)/Source-to-Pay (S2P) solutions
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent Analytical and Negotiation skills
