Job DescriptionAs the Copywriter, you will produce the written content for web pages, advertising, packaging, collateral, and multimedia in collaboration with cross-functional leads. You’ll write copy to convey valuable information about the Belkin brand, products, and services to engage the end-user and motivate them to take an action.Specific responsibilities include:
  • Support all marketing communications efforts, working with Global Product and Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Product Management, and other teams to ensure Belkin standards are being met and the brand is effectively represented.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing Managers to create and/or edit all copy for web pages, blogs, social media, video script, advertising, and other materials.
  • Understand the target audience and engage them through persuasive and accurate writing.
  • Work closely with creative team to ensure that the visual elements complement the words.
  • Develop and maintain copywriting style and standards for use in all Belkin promotional materials.
  • Assist with managing complete workflow of all copywriting projects, ensuring that procedures are efficient and effective at all times.
  • Team with Global Marketing Managers to coordinate consistency across all types of promotional media to promote the best Belkin message for branding and positioning.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Five or more years of experience in a similar position; previous experience working in an agency or the Consumer Electronics industry is a plus.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent in Creative Writing, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Have working knowledge of Google Keywords Planner/Google Trends + SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or another similar SEO platform to uncover search trends, crafting content that enhances search visibility.
  • Develop optimized content across various channels such as product and landing pages, video scripts, long-form blogs, etc.
  • Excellent writing, spelling, grammar, structure and proofing skills.
  • Excellent management, communication and organizational skills.
