- Work closely with the Production, Service Engineering and Marketing teams to develop refurbished product protocols and procedures.
- Collaboratively identify issues, opportunities, and associated strategies within assigned procedural areas through frequent conversations and interactions Service, Engineering, Production and Engineering.
- Drive, develop and deliver content used for work documents, Quality inspections/checklist, parts list and safety guidelines within project timelines.
- Communicate with General Manager, Operations, Marketing, and Production to assure awareness of project changes, pricing evaluations, new service tools, corrective measures, etc.
- Create and drive short and long-term product /project planning process to achieve CPO strategy and goals.
- Cultivate and utilize internal relationships to support projects and (CPO) product development.
- Maintain cohesive Product Management approach to strategic issues across assigned product categories.
- Collaborate with Service, Operations, Team Leads and production technicians on the development/execution of Plans of Action (POAs).
- Identify, establish, and maintain productive relationships with Service Engineering, Quality Team and field Service Specialist and Managers often related to product areas of focus.
- Demonstrate a robust understanding of the competitive product marketplace. Keep informed and proactively act on current market trends and sales analysis to sharpen ability to plan, review, adjust and approve product/procedural plans, including the identification of future product development opportunities.
- Provide pricing strategy stewardship within assigned product categories.
- Provide leadership in lean programs, Kaizen activities.
- Monitor processes to identify opportunities for improvements in health safety, quality, delivery and cost using formal problem-solving methods.
- Actively participate in product installation on Customers site to determine if product meets market needs.
- Follow-up and ensure that associated projects and action plans are carried out.
- Track measure and document progress in continuous improvement using standard performance indicators.
- BA or BS degree in technical or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant business experience, mechanically, and/or engineering related.
- Ability to travel up to 5-10 %, domestically.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Business acumen and an understanding of how decisions impact production.
- Exhibit a strong sense of urgency for executing strategic plans and achieving product revenue goals.
- Proven self-starter in managing work, taking initiative, and continuous learning.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications including Pivot tables and Excel.
- Experience working effectively with cross functional teams.
- Medical device product market experience, preferred.
- Experience working in a regulated industry (FDA, ISO, medical device, food, pharmaceutical, automotive, or aerospace industries), strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge with a variety of products and technologies is preferred.
- Experience with Lean, CI Kaizen activities, strongly preferred.
