Packaging Engineer & Program ManagerCome be Innovative!· Location: 30 minutes from Fort Worth and 30 minutes from Plano. Created to help them diversify their offerings and drive growth.· This role designs new products and improves current ones. Our client has created a new role in the organization to help them develop new products to drive growth across several of their products.As the Lead Innovation Packaging Engineer & Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development and execution of complex single and multi-material packaging solutions projects from conception to completion, including designing, developing, and testing. You will have leadership responsibilities within the Innovation team and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that packaging meets the requirements of the customers, is cost-effective, and meets regulatory compliance. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Education/Work Experience Preferences:· Bachelor's degree in an applicable field such as Engineering, Packaging Science, Industrial Technology, etc.· 8 or more years of relevant experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a packaging environment· Proven leadership experience (NOTE: This does not mean we need direct management. We are seeking Project Management, Program Management, cross-functional team leadership.)· Must be able to work autonomously and on-site (this isn't a remote/hybrid position)· Strong knowledge of packaging materials and manufacturing processes, thermal and mechanical analysis of structures; experience with packaging testing and analysis; excellent project management skills, knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for packaging.· Experience packaging larger products such as appliances, furniture, etc. would be the best fit.· Experience with NPI processes or stage-gate project management would be a plus
