- Ensures every guest is greeted and welcomed on arrival
- Safely parks guests' vehicles
- Assists guests with luggage upon checking in and checking out and when meeting their transportation.
- Requests taxicabs and answer inquiries
- Informs incoming guests on the following while assisting them to their room: restaurant hours of operation, location of vending/ice machines; pool and beach information; fitness center information; emergency procedures; equipment and exit paths.
- Takes pride in the overall look and feel of the hotel, assuring cleanliness and conditions are at their peak at all times
- Submits all lost and found articles accompanied by a Lost and Found report.
- Assists with doorperson functions and beach operations as needed.
- Notifies guests via telephone of delivery of automobiles, packages, or other items and assists in delivering of guest items to their rooms.
- Provides other assistance to guests as necessary to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Completes additional duties as assigned
- 1-2 years of experience in a public contact position
- Customer service experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Detail-oriented, organized, cleanly
- Must have a flexible schedule (may be required to work late shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed)
- Must possess a valid US driver's license and meet requirements for driving history record obtained through an initial and periodic Motor Vehicle Report.
