- Supporting month-end close and financial planning, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
- Demonstrating strong drive to learn and an ability to earn trust of your team and business partners
- Focusing on controllership, driving continuous improvement and standardization of processes, including implementation of best practices and automation initiatives, collaborating with technology teams
- Developing metrics and reports to provide controllership to new programs
- Driving cost reduction initiatives
- Working with a variety of data sources, being able to identify incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying root causes, escalating discrepancies, partnering on the resolution and executing fixes
- Building forecasting models, concisely communicating results to senior leadership to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions
- Preparing concise documents, tailored to various levels of stakeholders, and collaborating with operations’ leaders and other teams
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or a Bachelor's degree and experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance)
- Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
