Assisting in the development of short to long-term H&S strategies.
Supporting the site Head of Operations and other key stakeholders in upholding and surpassing statutory obligations in all H&S and environmental domains.
Aiding in the development, enforcement, and compliance with H&S risk control standards and procedures.
Skills and Experience Required
Participate in managing the site's Environmental Health and Safety System.
Assist in conducting risk assessments, implementing recommendations, and maintaining H&S documentation.
Support incident documentation, investigation, and the implementation of suggested improvements.
Contribute to H&S reporting and the coordination of adverse event responses.
Offer insights on H&S topics to enhance organizational knowledge and practices.
Engage in internal audits and site inspections, promoting corrective actions and continuous improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A diploma in Environmental Health and Safety.
An interest in Occupational Health and Safety within the food manufacturing sector.
Sharp attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
