Job Description:Position OverviewNavistar is looking for a Senior Manager, Finance Master Data Management to support our Digital Transformation Journey.The Senior Manager of Finance Master Data Management is responsible for working across Finance and Accounting (“F&A”) to improve the decision readiness of Finance and Accounting data. This includes quality and consistency of financial reporting structures and the accuracy of planning activities through the integration of financial and non-financial data in scenario planning.Finance is driving a large-scale finance transformation through our ERP and EPM strategies. We are taking active strides to reduce manual data gathering efforts, improve analytical capabilities, gain further visibility into specific product profitability, increase automated processing, and further our role as a business partner to support Finance’s vision for the future.
Responsibilities
  • Own the F&A master data management strategy for financial and non-financial data
  • Support Navistar’s emerging enterprise-wide data governance strategy
  • Align F&A’s data governance strategy with Navistar’s enterprise-wide governance strategy
  • Coordinate with IT on digital investments that strengthen F&A’s data capabilities
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and transparency across F&A
  • Ensure F&A is well-informed about data resources and analytics solutions
  • Keep apprised of advancements and opportunities to use new technologies
  • Create, track and report process performance indicators including EX
  • Partner with IT to develop and execute business continuity plans

Desired Skills
  • SAP S/4HANA or Oracle EPM Suite preferred
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Experience implementing a data governance strategy
  • Leadership: a natural leader with strong experience of end to end roll out of analytics solutions with a vision of how this technology can transform our business
  • Relationship Management: A passion for interacting in a positive and creative manner with customers and team members with the goal of developing effective partnerships
  • Communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface efficiently with all levels of management - ability to provide clear, concise explanations of complex problems to management
  • Bias for action, with ability to deliver outstanding results through task prioritization and time management.
  • Strong work ethic and results orientation required for fast paced, customer-focused environment
  • Experience with data or IT, ideally with data quality expertise
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Technical experience in data architecture principles and design aspects of various DBMSs and reporting concepts
