1. Supply Chain Strategy Development: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company objectives, optimize efficiency, and reduce costs.2. Negotiate contracts and manage ongoing supplier relationships to ensure performance and compliance.3. Cost Control: Continuously analyze supply chain activities to identify cost reduction opportunities, including negotiating better prices, improving logistics, and reducing waste.7. Quality Assurance: Ensure all supply chain activities meet both internal quality standards and external regulatory compliance requirements.8. Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the supply chain, such as supplier failures or logistical interruptions, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.9. Technology Implementation: Leverage technology to improve supply chain visibility and efficiency. Implement and manage systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) software.11. Performance Measurement: Monitor and analyze supply chain performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are being met and to identify areas for improvement.12. Team Leadership: Lead and develop the supply chain team, providing guidance and support to ensure professional growth and effective contribution to company goals.13. Environmental and Sustainability Management: Promote sustainable practices within the supply chain to reduce environmental impact and enhance the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives. 1. Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees like a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or specialized certifications in supply chain management (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)) are highly desirable.2. Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, with proven success in managing complex supply chains.
- Experience in supplier management, inventory management, and logistics is essential.
- Prior leadership experience, including managing teams and developing supply chain strategies.3. Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively handle complex supply chain challenges.
- Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and service providers.
