- Troubleshoots equipment using proper tools in a skilled craftsman-like manner.
- Performs assignments as directed by the Director or Assistant Chief Engineer.
- Reports any problems to the Director or Assistant Chief Engineer and/or resolves independently as able.
- Assumes the duties of other mechanics when required, including light carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical, etc.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Completes works orders and follows through with communication
- Reports any damage or malfunction of equipment.
- Repairs all malfunctioning mechanical devices.
- While on shift, respond as part of an initial response team to any early warning or major fire alarm.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop, loading dock, and recycling areas. Responsible for glass and cardboard recycling.
- Maintain the proper use, cleaning, maintenance, and storage of all tools.
- Resolves guest complaints, ensuring guests' satisfaction.
- Other and additional duties may be expected of incumbent as well as assisting in other departments based on business need.

- Valid driver’s license
- Pool Operator Certification, preferred
- This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma.
- A minimum of one years job-related experience (e.g. building maintenance).
- Experience in building maintenance, electrical work, plumbing, refrigeration and carpentry skills.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, plumbing and wiring schematics, preferred.
