I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.Job DescriptionAbout the role:As a Manager, Systems Solutionist and Governance, you will execute control and governance for Contracts and Pricing (C&P) and USBU data consumers (e.g., Controller, Price Forecasting, Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) Data Analytics and Insights) functions. You will also enhance efficiency through the implementation of procedures, processes, systems, and tools, drawing on a diverse set of skills from functional teams as necessary to achieve business objectives.How you will contribute:Establish and manage master data quality standards and guidelines; ensure data management governance within C&P and with other functional data owners to confirm functional data integrity across Takeda.Enforce procedures, policies, practices to ensure appropriate access to data of stakeholders. Work between Data, Digital & Technology (DD&T), consultants, C&P and others to establish responsibility matrix or RACI (responsible, accountable, consulted or informed) for system changes and updates and corporate DD&T initiatives.For high-risk areas, enforce systems, processes, and governance controls to comply with rules, regulations, and internal policies to improve the efficiency or effectiveness of operations, and to ensure data integrity, as directed.Review policies, procedures, documentation, and data to ensure that controls are adequate to measure and manage risk, and that processes, systems, policies, and controls are sufficient to ensure the reliability of financial reporting, and to address changing regulatory and business requirements.Work with C&P Compliance and functional areas to address any gaps or deficiencies.Maintain regular communications with stakeholders (DD&T, C&P Compliance, Reimbursement, Contracts and Government Pricing) to incorporate their input, feedback, and to ensure that master data management and data integrity are being maintained.Support research and analysis activities to determine level of risk for changes to data integrity and impact for upstream/downstream stakeholders.Support systems implementations, upgrades, and other change management activities with testing and documentation.Work with functional areas to ensure appropriate and adequate testing activities, and to ensure that proper governance is in place to deal with any system changes.Work with functional leadership to resolve any problems identified with the operation of systems or interfaces that compromise the integrity or completeness of data or process efficiency.Support internal and external audits activitiesWhat you bring to Takeda:Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, computer science, business administration or a related field.5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically DD&T, Managed Markets and/or Finance.Anticipate and prepare for specific future opportunities or obstacles, calculating appropriate associated risks .Can think through how decisions will impact Takeda, customer and stakeholders before execution.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, exceptional organization and time-management capabilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and tasks in a matrix environment.More about us:At Takeda, we are transforming patient care through the development of novel specialty pharmaceuticals and best in class patient support programs.
