P/L ReportingMaintain production of daily P/L and market risk management reportsPerform a first-level review and analysis of data for accuracy, completeness, and validity of balances.Review and analyze final P/L reports accuracy and completeness.Ensure timely and accurate production of regular reporting.Daily General Ledger ReconciliationResponsible for the reconciliation of P&L balances.Perform reconciliation of sub-ledger to general ledger uploads.Perform analysis of valuation breaks as they relate to the resolution of identified discrepancies.Generate report outputs for distribution to supported departments.Monitor EOD ProcessingMonitor accurate and timely data across multiple front and back-office systems.Perform file transfers and system jobs in a timely manner.Coordinate timely execution of recovery processes to ensure EOD batch is accurate and complete.Attend weekly meetings geared toward the resolution of ongoing issues.Customer Support (Internal)Respond to audit, front office, and comptrollers' reconciliation requests.Liaise with the Front Desk, Back office, Comptrollers, Auditors, Head office and IT support on issues related to PL reporting.Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.The ideal candidate will have:1-2 years' experience in a related field.Knowledge of derivative products and/or pricing.Attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skills.Intermediate to advanced technical skills, including Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of Bloomberg and VBA a plus.Bachelor's degree or higher.The typical base pay range for this role is between $65K - $85K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
