The ideal candidate will work across all functions, help manage external contractual relationships, and supervise outside counsel. This role will work closely with both our General Counsel and other attorneys within our Legal and Compliance groups.Responsibilities
  • Draft and review complex, technology-driven client engagement agreements.
  • Develop and implement standard client form documentation and leverage contract lifecycle management solutions to improve efficiency and consistency of client and vendor agreements.
  • Draft and review a variety of general corporate agreements related to human resources, finance, marketing, real estate, facilities, and alternative investments.
  • Draft and review various contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documentation.
  • Assist with legal aspects of strategic corporate development initiatives.
  • Perform ad hoc research projects.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of relevant experience within a top-tier law firm and/or in-house at a technology or financial services firm, or within a related industry
  • Member in good standing of the New York or Connecticut Bar or another state or jurisdiction
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Willing to learn new topics and work in an evolving business environment
  • Organized and detailed oriented with big picture capability
  • Familiar with technology companies a plus
BenefitsThe base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $220,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
