- Must be accepted into the Hiring our Heroes (HOH) cohort.
- Interest and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required and (six) 6 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work independently or under generalized supervision with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the customer's requirements for the team product and how it functions within the larger ecosystem.
- Gain knowledge of the project's policies, procedures, and change management plan.
- Familiarize yourself with the technologies used by the team product and explore alternative implementations and solutions.
- Create, implement, test, document, and support features, product capabilities, and data processing methods to ensure the highest levels of information system security.
- Collaborate with Product Owner/Scrum Master, team leads, and other team members to meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Perform maintenance tasks on existing products.
- Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming.
- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging.
- Strong networking (TCP/IP) and socket level programming skills.
- Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience in CNO capability development.
- Knowledge of software analysis and reverse engineering.
- Familiarity with low-level internals in areas such as Windows, Unix, Mobile, or Network devices.
- Experience in unit and/or system testing.
- Proficiency in using Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible).
- Open Source/Internet research skills.
- Software development expertise in C, C++, and assembler (especially x86, ARM, MIPS, PowerPC).
- Ability to reverse engineer software/firmware binaries using tools like Ghidra or IDA, and proficiency in using debuggers.
- Exposure or willingness to learn hardware breakdown, soldering, board analysis, etc.
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a TS/SCI Clearance.
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (50% of the time) and operate computer equipment and office machinery.
- Regular communication with co-workers, management, and customers.
