- Deliver non-medical in-home care in alignment with individualized care plans. This may include help with daily living activities like grooming, dressing, preparing meals, and performing light household tasks.
- Provide companionship, fostering a supportive and positive environment for mental and physical well-being.
- Promptly observe and report any shifts in clients’ health, behaviors, or living conditions to supervisory personnel.
- Aid clients with mobility, including assistance with moving, walking, and stair navigation.
- Maintain a safe living environment for clients, reporting any safety concerns to the care coordination team.
- Uphold client confidentiality and adhere strictly to privacy regulations.
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills.
- Completion of high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Prior caregiving experience is preferred, but newcomers with a strong desire to learn are welcome.
- Successful clearance of a comprehensive background investigation.
- Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills are essential.
- Access to reliable transportation and a flexible approach to work schedules are required.
