A major transportation and ocean logistics company, located in Carson CA, is seeking a detail-oriented Logisitcs Customer Service Rep for their busy operations center.This is a long-term, Temp-to-Hire opportunity offering a chance to learn a new industry and become a valued member of the overall operations team.Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay Rate: $19
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 5pm
  • Filing and scanning of docket folders
  • Check documents for completeness, accuracy and compliance
  • Good alphabetizing skills and detail oriented
  • Data entry
  • Will be trained to work on several accounts
  • Shipping & Receiving
  • Inventory
  • Billing
  • Will learn import/export business
  • Help out and learn other functions of logistics business
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Minimum 6 months of export experience
  • Excellent PC skills - Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Excellent organizational skills, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
  • Multitask; able to work independently or as part of a team
  • High caliber customer service focus- engaged and helpful
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality is very important to them.
