Role:To function as part of the Business Services team, planning, designing, and implementing systems and processes related to operations. Performing development activity across the full domain of industrial control, and manufacturing execution environment.Responsibilities:
  • Design, creation, documentation, implementation, and support of computer software used for operational effectiveness in the areas of MES/OPC/SCADA/Controls.
  • Research production and operational processes, designing and building software systems that automate tasks as appropriate to increase effectiveness.
  • Analysis of SCADA systems information, MES information, and upstream information from other systems needed for integration work.
  • Works with business analysts and operations to design, develop, and /or modify user interfaces for applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
  • Analyze, develop, test debug, and document custom code to ensure smooth upgrades and version roll outs while maintaining data integrity.
  • Work to resolve application issues and related technical problems to ensure business uptime.
  • Work collaboratively with other OT and IT personnel to ensure the accurate and timely completion of projects.
Core Skills:
  • Knowledge of machine control concepts
  • Ability to program in various PC languages used for supervisory machine control
  • Basic networking knowledge needed for operational systems
  • Technical Project management skills
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills
  • Advanced design skills related to software systems
  • Programming skills in various software languages such as C/C++/C#, SQL, VB, Python, etc.
  • Knowledge of business processes used in manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Databases, data formats, and data structuring methods
  • Excellent IT skills necessary for development activities
  • Software project management skills
  • Good understanding of a wide area of IT & OT concepts
HOURS: Full-Time, 8:00am- 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday One Site and in person, Lynden WA.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
