What the Quality Technician will do:
Inspect incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and completing inspection reports
Document inspection results in reports and logs and input data into a quality system
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications
Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results
What you need to be the Quality Technician:
High school diploma or GED
3+ years of experience in quality manufacturing
Ability to use a variety of hand tool inspection equipment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions, system schematics, GD&T blueprints, and technical policy or maintenance instructions #metrocareers
