  • Shifts: 1st
  • Wage: $14/hour PLUS an additional $2.00/hour for all hours worked on weekends (Friday at 3:00 pm until Sunday at 11:59 pm)

Essential Functions:
  • Report to work in uniform presented professionally, neat, and clean
  • Greet all guests in a friendly, positive manner. Ask questions of guests and make personal connections to make them feel they are welcome and valued
  • Anticipate and meet the needs and expectations of our guests, then go one step further
  • Communicate regularly with the Supervisors to ensure they know of any linen shortages or laundry backups
  • Stock and store clean linens in the appropriate areas of the laundry room and storage rooms
  • Assist in removing linen and trash from guest rooms
  • Remove all trash from hotel floor landings and take out to trash compactor regularly
  • Take dirty linen to laundry and sort appropriately
  • Run clean linen and supplies to storage on floors and housekeepers as needed
  • Ensure that enough linen is available to start the next day’s housekeeping shift
  • Keep the laundry room and storage rooms clean and stocked with all necessary supplies
  • Report any maintenance issues to Supervisor
  • Report all lost and found items to Supervisor
  • Ensure that all standards set by Suburban Inns and Hilton are being followed at all times
  • Deliver items to guest rooms as requested by the front desk
  • Assist in cleaning of rooms as needed including making beds
  • Assist with folding laundry as needed
  • Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
  • Assist with quarterly linen inventory
  • Assist with emptying carts
  • Assist with stocking housekeeping carts
  • Make beds as needed to assist housekeeping department
  • Receive housekeeping orders and put away in appropriate places
  • Perform janitorial duties as assigned by management
  • Maintain a positive attitude throughout the shift, and keep Team Member morale high
  • Follow all Suburban Inns Processes
  • Exhibit regular and recurrent attendance records
  • Other duties as requested by management
Position Requirements:Minimum Knowledge: Requires ability to interpret / extract information and / or perform arithmetic functions. May require typing, basic computer knowledge, record keeping, or word processing. Good communication skillsFormal Education and Job-Related Experience: NoneLicense, Registration, and/or Certification Required: NoneUniform and Appearance:Uniform and Appearance Guidelines: Uniform shirt and name tag provided. Suburban Inns approved black slacks or Dockers (no yoga-style) and black, close-toed, non-slip shoes are the responsibility of the Team Member.Appearance: Visible earrings are allowed in the ears only or must be covered throughout the course of the shift. Hair must be kept well-groomed. This policy will be administered by the position’s supervisor, without regard to race, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability, height, weight, genetics, familial status, veteran status, and other protected characteristics.
